Love for masterpieces
Gradina is the name of a sculptors’ chisel that, in the expert hands of people living at the foot of the Apuan Alps, turns into an instrument of spiritual ennoblement of a raw material: the marble, the whitest one.
The mission of Gradina is to give shape to a point of contact between the local know-how and the culture of international cities such as Doha and Miami through the masterpieces of the best contemporary artists, bringing a curatorial approach to art onboard floating collections.
Gradina is the platinum sponsor of the Embassy of Italy in Qatar.

Embedded between sea and mountains, the ancient town of Pietrasanta, not far from Carrara, hosts artists since 15th Century, when Michelangelo selected from the quarries of this area a stone first excavated here by the Romans.

Not far from the capital of the marble, Viareggio is the world yachting capital, giving birth to stunning masterpieces of design and craftsmanship on water.
